It's All About Teamwork
Well, we’ve put another issue of Unscripted to bed, to borrow some old newspaper slang. But it wouldn’t have happened without the faithfulness of my two co-editors, Ashley Sowell and A. Anderson. Between the three of us, we wrote most of this edition.
Unfortunately, this is an untenable situation. At some point, one or more of us is going to find life too full to spend our days planning, writing, uploading, coding, and copy editing Unscripted. When that happens, we’ll have not only put our last issue to bed, we’ll have locked the door and shut down the utilities, too.
We need regular contributors we can count on. If you’re interested in being one of those people, let us know. I know there are a lot of childfrees out there who would like to see this zine continue and succeed. However, good wishes are not enough.
If you’re not clear on our duties, here they are:
A. Anderson is keeping our editorial calendar. If you don’t know what you want to write about, let her know.
Ashley is tracking our assignments. Let her know what you’re writing and when you’ll have it in so she can figure out how many articles we have coming in for each section of the zine each month.
And I’m the one you send things to by the 20th of the month. Except for May, because you get a break there — get your articles to me by the 22nd.
Also, our submission guidelines are online, so now you’ve no excuse not to brush off that dusty keyboard and write an article. And in the meantime, enjoy our May edition!

Is there a place where we can read bios of contributors? I saw the bios on the editors and web designers. Are there any others?

Every month, we list the contributors for the month. This time, only Beckie and Diana are on the “Writers and Visual Artists” list since they were the only non-editors to submit something for May.
